moku

moku refers to consumption. This includes both eating and drinking.

mi moku e kili e telo.

I ate fruit and drank water.

Typically, moku means that the thing being eaten eventually becomes part of the thing eating in some sense. A lunch box doesn’t moku e the rice in it because we normally don’t frame the rice as part of the box itself, but a phone might moku e power because it’s framed as more integral to the device.
