ko

ko refers to relatively homogeneous substances that are somewhere between a complete solid and a liquid.

Particularly viscous liquids like honey and dipping sauce are ko, and a bunch of small solids put together like sand and dust are ko. Solids that are easily deformed like clay and play dough are also often referred to as ko.
